Never Underestimate the Power of a Bathing Suit Coverup
If you're reading this, than I suggest you hold on to your socks and get a glass of water to spit out in shock, because you're about to read about the greatest fashion secret of all time-Bathing suit coverups can be used as normal clothing.
I know, I know. Your mind is blown.
But, my sweet reader, think about it. Bathing suit coverups are light, summery, and often inexpensive. They are perfect for layering and can be dressed up and down for any occasion.
To prove that bathing suit coverups are for more than the beach, I have taken the liberty of styling (and rocking, if I don't say so myself) two different cover up looks.
LOOK 1:
I layered a white, fishnet coverup over a black bralette and black high waisted shorts and sneakers. This look is sporty and more for the day time. It is perfect for an active summer day or a music festival.
Look 2:
I layered a navy cutout-coverup over a pair of silver shorts and black tank top and then paired it with a blazer and loafers. This outfit is better suited for the night time and there are loads of places where you can wear this. Examples include parties, the streets of New York City, or even the supermarket.
